Privacy of your DNA
Genetic data is a special category under GDPR Article 9 and is treated that way: it is encrypted at rest, every upload records the consent it was given under - your own kit, or one you are authorised to manage - and that consent can be withdrawn. Your tree and your DNA are never sold, never shared with advertisers, and never used to train AI models. Your consents page lists what you have agreed to and lets you change it.
