Shared segments
DNA segments shows the pieces of chromosome you share with your matches, read from the segment files you upload for a kit. Pick the kits to compare and the page draws the shared segments per chromosome. A triangulated segment, carried by three linked kits, points at a common ancestor more strongly than a plain shared-match group. Without segment files the page is empty, and it says that is why.
