The paternal line check

Whenever a Y-DNA result is recorded on a kit, the platform compares its haplogroup with the documented paternal line of the person the kit is linked to. A clash between a father and a son is written as a parentage assessment with the evidence on both sides and listed under Parentage checks; the import dialog tells you whether the check ran, found nothing, or found conflicts. It needs the consent recorded for the kit and a person linked to it. It never rewrites a parent.
